Actor Oc Ukeje Opens Up About His Future Plans

OC Ukeje came into the limelight in 2007 after winning the Amstel Malta Box Office reality TV show.
Since then, he has grown into one of Africa’s favourite leading men starring both in Nigerian box office hits and other international projects like the critically acclaimed South African film ‘Ayanda’. This year, he was selected as one of the Rising Stars for the Toronto International Film Festival alongside his co-star on the movie ‘The Arbitration’ Somkele Idhalama. He is currently at TIFF where he has attended the international premiere of the movie ‘The Arbitration’ as well as other local and international releases.
The very private movie star in an interview about Nollywood, how he feels being selected as one of TIFF’s rising stars for 2016 and his plans for the future and here’s what he had to say:
How does it feel being one of the selected few to be honoured at TIFF especially as you might not be termed a “New Act” per say having been in the industry for almost 10 years (if not more)?
We must call it what it is. I’m relatively known in Nigeria and some parts of Africa but I’ll definitely be a newbie when I step into the North American or European markets because we do not have or employ the capacity of media machinery that serves the more established markets. We don’t have the infrastructure for it either. And it’s simply that. I have a fair amount of experience that can expedite the process of visibility in bigger markets, other things being equal. But I totally celebrate the position

Comedian Koffi Receives Serious Bashing From A TV Presenter

A TV presenter by the name Ayinla Olayinka has come out to give comedian Koffi a dose of his own medicine following his controversial post yesterday.
Read his response to Koffi's post below..

I read with utter dismay the epistle comedian Koffi wrote to address the ills of a certain artist and before I could say jack Robison, his epistle touched on so many worrisome topics and threw shades at some other artistes.  Well, I have no problem if you decide to address somethings you felt aren't worth it in the entertainment circle but pointing your fingers at successful young artistes who are fast becoming entrepreneurs and making names for themselves is where I have problem. Let me quickly state here that I have no ties with any artiste he mentioned in his post but then again I'm going to speak like a fan of Naija music.  Calling people arrogant and saying their career is fast hitting the rock or has gone into oblivion and he went further to compare young artiste with the those who I will simply call veterans is a plus. I must confess, your innuendos are weighty and you threw punchlines like an artiste you have refused to be even in your failed quest in music, you never gave such punchlines.  See the kettle calling the pot black has forgetting that it will still end up in same fire as the pot. Let's go back in time
